Tomorrow, I get to sit down and work on the big B word... budget. The workbook says to expect it to take 4-6 hours, but... you know... this isn't my first pony ride so I don't expect it to take that long. Of course, we are totally revamping how we do things, so maybe it will.
I found this website that has all of the FPU worksheets available in PDF and Word format. No more trying to fit that darn small book on the printer!
I got a call from my SIL's mom, Eva tonight. My brother and SIL are in Jamaica, and Eva has the girls all week. Sydney (my 3 year old niece) somehow convinced herself that a spider crawled into her ear and she was hysterical. I talked to her and it just about broke my heart. We think she is just getting an earache and missing her mommy and daddy. Eva gave her some Tylenol is planning to call the doctor first thing in the morning, so I told her that her Yaya was going to call her doctor in the morning and she cried "Aunt Kwista, I don't know how to get to my doctor!" I told her that her Yaya would drive her but then she talked to Marty and the first thing she said was "Uncle Mawty, I don't know how to get to my doctor!" Poor thing. And poor Yaya! A week of a not feeling so well kid isn't my idea of a good time. This is going to kill my brother and SIL. They were pretty apprehensive about leaving the girls, and the first day that they are gone one of them gets sick. See. I should have offered to go to Jamaica for them.
I did not get cookies made today, but I did get to eat a few fresh from the oven gingersnaps from the elderly woman down the cul-de-sac. I guess I will just have to make two batches tomorrow.
